Pokemon Bank and Pokemon Transporter, the two applications Nintendo 3DS Pokemon fans have all been waiting for. Our European and Australian Pokemon fans received good news today, they can finally retrieve their beloved Pokemon from generation 5 games: Pokemon Black/White and Pokemon Black2/White2. Pokemon Bank and Pokemon Transporter are now available on the European and Australian 3DS eShops.
Pokemon Bank allows you budding Pokemon Trainers to keep up to 3000 Pokemon in your bank and has 100 boxes to store all your favourites in, which is ideal for all you event collectors out there or to even store your treasured collection. People who download the application now have until the 14th of March 2014 to experience it for free. After the free trial, the application only costs £4.49/€4.99/$4.99 a year, which is good for our pockets as well as our collection! Furthermore to all this good news, those of you who manage to use the Pokemon Bank and Transporter before September get a free Celebi!
Pokemon has really stepped up its game by not allowing hacked Pokemon through the Bank's cloud. Could this be a sign that we will be seeing even tougher crackdowns on illegitimate Pokemon in the future? I sure hope so!
I managed to get my download today, and the eShop's lag was surprisingly low. I had no trouble in downloading both of the applications, and with very low block size amounts there is no reason as to why people should not try this out. The yearly fee is very low also, and for a cracking product like this it really is well worth the money.
There is still no word on a North American release date for both applications, but I am sure it will not be long. For now, Europeans and Australians will be doing the Rain Dance on their own. Again, Pokemon Bank and Pokemon Transporter are now available through the Nintendo 3DS eShop on Europe and Australia.
