Murdered: Soul Suspect was one of those surprise titles of E3 that really stirs your curiosity. Apparently Microsoft agrees, because they've gone out of their way to ensure that in addition Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 the game will now also be coming to Xbox One. Official word is that PlayStation 4 support has been added too, but for today Microsoft is making the the most of an exclusive Murdered developer walkthrough of the game.
That means that in addition to the Xbox One reveal, there's also a lengthy developer-led trailer from Airtight Studios detailing some of the more complex features of Murdered. See, Murdered isn't just another third-person action title, there are several unique and creative puzzle mechanics at play involving the protagonist interacting with people and objects (he's a ghost). Sure, there's a bit of action too, but the puzzle bits can be a bit confusing without someone to carefully describe them.
Congratulations to Microsoft for getting first dibs on announcing Murdered: Soul Suspect is coming to next-gen. Though it's great to hear that Murdered will be coming both to Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Launch for all platforms is tentatively planned for Q2 of 2014. Make sure to check out the developer walkthrough trailer to see what Airtight Studios is putting together for us.
