Namco Bandai has recently released three character trailers of some beloved Tales characters - Lloyd Irving, Kratos Aurion, and Colette Brunel. If you're looking forward to Tales of Symphonia Chronicles on the PlayStation 3, this will just serve to add more hype. Though these videos focus mainly on the characters, they also provide an excellent example of the dual audio. The HD collection of Tales of Symphonia and its sequel will contain both the original Japanese and English audio, giving a long-sought after feature to the players.
First off is Lloyd Irving, the hard-headed protagonist from the original Tales of Symphonia. Despite his stubbornness, he's a genuinely good guy whose main goal is to save both his friends and the entire world - yes, it's a bit of an overplayed story, but his introduction can be found below.
Next is Colette Brunel, the innocent maiden in the story. She was selected to be The Chosen of Regeneration, a savior of the world, at birth, and is now traveling with her companions to make sure her task is completed.
Last, but certainly not least, is Kratos Aurion. A mercenary swordsman, Kratos mysteriously appears early on in the story, and takes on a role as a hired guard. Unfortunately, a few members of the group grow suspicious of their new teammate, leading to a pretty suspenseful journey.
Tales of Symphonia Chronicles, the HD collection of Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, will be released for the PlayStation 3 on Feb. 25 in North America and Feb. 28 in PAL regions.
