Microsoft's disappointing "Games With Gold" program continues in February with two games each almost two and a half years old. Xbox 360 owners will be able to download Dead Island and Toy Solders: Cold War for free during the month, adding to their collection of games they've already played or probably have very little interest in. At least both games have multiplayer, so everyone can make the most of that Xbox Live Gold subscription they've had to buy.
Perhaps the most disheartening news surrounding the February "Games With Gold" reveal is that the service still has yet to make the jump to Xbox One. November, December, January and now February all without an update on when the service will be launching. I suppose we need to wait a couple more years before Microsoft feels comfortable releasing a free game for Xbox One.
Hopefully Dead Island and Toy Soldiers: Cold War will appease the masses as they wait for Titanfall.
