It's no secret Nintendo hasn't been doing well lately. They've only sold 2.41 million Wii U systems over the past nine months. President Iwata is cutting his own salary in half. They don't have much in the way of third party support. Nintendo's answer? Focus on children.
That was Iwata's statement in a nutshell in Osaka today. Despite claims from third-party sources, Nintendo's new business strategy may be more Mario. It makes sense, in a way. When Luigi screws something up, Mario's usually the one that comes behind and tries to clean things up.
