There's nothing wrong with BF4. A very vocal minority that loves to rag on EA for being "evil" are just throwing a hissy fit, BF4 is fine as it is and it's appalling that the developers are catering to the vocal minority when they should be sticking their ground. No game is perfect but BF4 represents the EA seal of quality.

I've played over a hundred hours on the Xbox One version of it to no fault, as did the majority of players that purchased on the xbox systems.

This is what happens when devs rush out a game to make money rather then spending the extra time making it better in the first place. Game after game have done the same thing, seen how making a game every other year and selling small DLC for essentially half the price of the game can rake in shit tonnes more than just making a good *bleep*ing game in the first place. reviewers only play games for about 8-12 hours, so even casual games like CoD or Fifa don't get repetitive and boring in that time. Plus there a big franchise so they get perfect reviews regardless of what they actually make.

I honestly took my copy of MW2 back because the main menu was so god aweful I thought there was something wrong with the disk. I could of knocked up something better in 25 minutes with GIMP.

Some of the best games of this(last?) generation have all had huge dev times, Killzone 2 was about 4 years, Halo 3 was 3 years. Team Ico have been working on the last guardian forever I'm sure when it comes out in 2020 it'll be the best game in history, Ico and the last guardian are both incredible games.

TL;DR, I don't care for many 'mainstream' games because there just made to make money rather then be good, which is why they have so many problems.

also DedValve EA are evil, not because of this though just basically everything they have done in the past 3-4 years

Since the last patch on 360 my game has been fine. All that was ever really wrong for me in the first place was Dawnbreaker conquest. Everytime I got into an attack chopper and was in a crowded area where a large firefight was going on my game would freeze. I knew it was inevitable so I stopped using the attack chopper on that map and it worked fine.

People just look for something to complain about in every situation. It all boils down to, if you don't like it don't do it. Or in this case don't play it.

My complaint is while waiting for these new " fixes", it's delaying the release of any new dlc. Which sucks.

There's a post up on battlelog about February being battlefield appreciation month. This new patch is supposed to come out. You get a battle pack every day you play the game, bronze on weekdays and silver on weekends. A couple double xp weekends. And they're basically giving weapon bundles out( which I think is stupid) in order to make up for their bs. I'd rather just play the game how it is. The weapon bundles are all grenades and pistols for all players. And premium players get all dmrs and shotguns. I don't think I'm going to download them because all I have left to unlock really is a few pistols and dmrs. And I enjoy getting things for actually playing rather than kids whining until DICE does something like this just to shut them up.

Play the game. Or don't. It's that simple.

Actually, it varies from system to system on if theres "anything wrong with BF4". On the PS3 its a shambles. It crashes, on average, every hour and theres some horrible slowdown at times. Nice to see that it appears more stable on the next gen systems though, as i'm hoping to upgrade to the PS4 soon. Maybe then i'll be able to play it without hard-resetting my console all the time.

im on the ps4 and the game seems fine to me, sounds like they payed more attention to the next gen consoles and less to the current gen wich kinda sucks

Late reply but yeah, I upgraded to a PS4 and the game is far better in terms of stability. Theres still occasional problems like rubber-banding and server browser issues but yeah, its a big improvement over the PS3 version. The PS3 version of the game, quite frankly, should never have been released in such a shambolic state, but thats not my problem now.
