Damn, Capcom, take your merry time I suppose. Monster Hunter 4 is finally coming westward... in early 2015. Yes, today Capcom announced the upcoming release of Monster Hunter 4G, an updated version of Monster Hunter 4 only refined and with a ton of extra content. As part of that announcement they also confirmed that Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate was also in development for worldwide release.
All I can say is: 2015? Capcom, if you're wondering why you're having trouble in western markets it's because of things like this. Monster Hunter is as popular a franchise here, and growing more popular with each release. Yet Monster Hunter 4 came and went in late 2013 with no localization announcement. While I'm super excited for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate to finally arrive, 2015 seems rather unfair for western fans who've been waiting since the original game's announcement
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate in early 2015, only on Nintendo 3DS. Gah, it's impossible not to be excited. Expect news on the updated version of the game as soon as we hear it. It'll only be about a year and a half late, is all.
