I've had it up to here with Naughty Dog's trailers, screenshots and teasers for The Last of Us' upcoming Left Behind DLC release. Can we just make with the game, already? After all, it has been more than half a year since the game's full release. Gamers tend to have a short memory, so hopefully no one's forgotten what happens in The Last of Us. Who am I kidding, we're all waiting for this one with bated breath.
Riley is a character that's mentioned during the single-player The Last of Us gameplay, but is given a much more prominent role in the accompanying comic American Dreams. Together, the two introductions should set the stage for a ridiculously emotional experience in Left Behind. It's rather odd that Naughty Dog would choose a story that's already spoiled, but if they think it's an important story to share than who am I to argue.
The Last of Us' Left Behind DLC will be released on February 14, Valentine's Day for the single fellows out there. Pick it up for $14.99 stand-alone or $19.99 bundled with a couple of multiplayer DLC packs. If you own a PS3 then this is one piece of DLC you won't want to miss.
