We've seen it happen before. A franchise gets so popular that a company tries to milk it for all it's worth. Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed have been getting a new game every year for a while now and Nintendo's attempted to flood their systems with everyone's favorite Italian plumber. Microsoft has plans to give Forza the same treatment with Turn 10 and Playground taking turns in making a new game every year, much like Infinity Ward and Treyarch do.
Before we get too far on that subject though, let's talk about a British sports car company by the name of "Ultima." They've confirmed an extended partnership with Microsoft to have their cars featured in a new game to be released later this year. Forza Motorsport 4 and 5 have been a success according to Ultima in this Facebook post, which has since been removed:
"Our relationship with the Microsoft Corporation continues after the success of being included in Forza Motorsport 4. We are now also included in the latest Forza Motorsport 5 game which was released in late 2013. We have also recently agreed a new contract with the Microsoft corporation to be included in a new video game to be launched later in 2014.
"The Ultima is proving to be very popular and is providing excellent world wide publicity and recognition for our marque."
Wait a second. Their cars haven't appeared in Motorsport 5 yet! Ultima may have just leaked some DLC plans and stole the spotlight for a new game announcement in one sitting...
