Hmm, I like the sound of classic hitman returning in all his glory. Just give me a big map, a target and 500 creative ways to finish the contract.

Wakaman approves. Checkpoints seem a bit out of place in a stealth game.

Agent 47 is ALWAYS in his prime...my guess is this game will take place between the first and second games...now just confirm that david bateson will return to do the voice and jesper kyd for the music and we are golden.

Hitman Contracts and Blood Money have the best soundtracks ever.

Can't wait more news on PS4.

This ought to be interesting.

Totally agreeing with you there - literally, the only problem with Pandora Tomorrow SD was its checkpoint system, which Chaos Theory fixed... and Blacklist didn't. I think Mark Of The Ninja is the only stealth game that actually made checkpoints work.

I am skeptical. I have low expectations and expect this to be a lie.

I miss old games. Good they're going back with this. I think the missions will be more fun now without checkpoints. If i fail, I'll do what i did on blood money (kill everyone, then restart).

Oh man, as long as it's NOTHING like Absolution... not that Absolution was necessarily "bad" per-say... but wow, between the linearity/replay-grind, bonus/power-ups that seemed nearly transparent and useless (for the most part, never even paid that much of attention to them), and the odd-ball/infuriating scoring system that penalized you unless you played it exactly as the devs scripted it... it just wasn't the classic Hitman that brought it to the dance. I'm just thankful Absolution became free on PS Plus and didn't have to spend money on it... but because the taste Absolution left in my mouth, will definitely wait awhile after the release of the next Hitman, check out all the reviews, see how it's played, what mechanics it has or doesn't have etc... before going anywhere near it.
