He's only an Octopus, how is he supposed to manage the trials and tribulations of fatherhood let alone keeping his octo-secret from the public? We'll find out soon, because Octodad: Dadliest Catch has had its release date announced. Pick up the ridiculously unique action puzzler on January 30 for PC, Mac and Linux. Unfortunately PlayStation 4 gamers will have to wait until March, tentatively.
With the release date announcement as well as the release of the latest Octodad: Dadliest Catch trailer we're beginning to get a gleaming of the game's story. It appears that, on top of dealing with the normal every day events of making coffee and chores around the house, Octodad will have to... go outside. To the grocery store, to the acquarium, and somewhere along the way he'll come across a chef who is quick to discover his secret -- that he's an octopus in disguise. *gasp*
Expect Octodad: Dadliest Catch to launch January 30 for PC/Mac/Linux through various digital storefronts. Again, the PlayStation 4 release has yet to be confirmed, though a message on Twitter from the developer has confirmed that they're hoping to have the game ready in March.
