Folk have been begging for Naughty Dog to give us a release date for The Last of Us' upcoming single-player DLC "Left Behind," but the developer has left fans hanging. Lucky for us this sort of thing always leaks if publishers hold onto the information for too long. According to an advertisement on the PS3, The Last of Us "Left Behind" DLC will be launching on February 14 -- Valentine's Day.
Good guy Naughty Dog, knowing that single fellows will be home on Valentine's Day likely playing video games and/or eating Valentine's candy by their lonesome. Why not give them something to do? Something of an emotional outlet? Heck, their plan may work too well and there will be some unhappy partners out there watching their significant other playing more The Last of Us. Clickers love kisses.
The Last of Us is out exclusively on the PlayStation 3. While the game made the list of Neoseeker's Top 10 Games of the Year for 2013, elsewhere the game has received much more praise. There's no argument, it's and outstanding game. Hopefully "Left Behind" will continue that when it's launched on February 14 for $19.99.
