Rumors of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim going next-gen have popped up after a listing on Bethesda's website was discovered. On the Skyrim product page, a modified caption mentions the Xbox One and PS4, after the last-gen listings. The Xbox 360, PS3, and PC text all redirect to GameStop's online storefront, but the Xbox One and PS4 text doesn't (yet).
We can't be sure how long the listings have been up, but there you have it. While unconfirmed at this time by Bethesda, this Skyrim rumor isn't especially farfetched. Numerous other games released for last-gen platforms (and PC) are migrating to next-gen consoles. Such a successful and popular game such as this might benefit from the re-release as well -- because one can never own too many copies of Skyrim.
Anyway, we have no idea when this will be released, assuming it's real. In the meantime, when the heck is Fallout 4 being announced?
