I just started playing this game again except on PC for the first time. I refuse to play bethesda games on consoles anymore. Mods are just too good.

Yeah if they aren't implementing mod support then don't bother.

I'd buy it again for PS4. I wonder what kind of improvements we could expect. Having put 200+ hours into the PS3 version of Skyrim, it would be nice to see faster loading screens and higher frame rate, among other things.

Or you know, you could buy it for PC and have had those since day one.

Already have the game and expansions on the PC, along with mod support. Wonder if that means they might have plans for other stuff in game. Another expansion pack perhaps or something.

I would not be surprised about this at all.

I wouldn't be surprised if they re-released Borderlands 1 and 2 as a combo pack, actually. It isn't super likely, but pretty much any successful last gen game has a shot at getting re-released. This is because there is no native support for last gen games on the new platforms. Sure there is Gaikai or whatever, but that won't work for everyone, and it isn't online yet besides. So what better way to get people who have sold their last gen games and console(s) to re-purchase those games? Re-release their favorite games in revamped form with all DLC right on-disk, and increased graphics and performance to boot.

I'd say games that already have PC editions from last generation (IE: Skyrim, BL1/2, etc) are especially ripe for porting. The PC versions are ostensibly the best versions to port to the PS4 and One. The PC versions tend to have the best graphics and as the newer consoles are more PC-like than ever, it makes the job easier.

I've already played this game on PC (still playing) and Xbox 360. Still curious to see how it runs on One or PS4.

I saw a post on Reddit that linked to Twitter saying that some kind of error occurred and added the two systems to the list.
So seems like there's no Skyrim on Xbox One/PS4.

I still find the PC version to be far superior.
