If all you wanted for Christmas was a better look at any of those epic upcoming Persona games announced recently, then here's a treat. This is the second trailer for Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, the Etrian Oddysey-esque dungeon crawler featuring a mash-up of both Persona 3 and Persona 4 characters. Unfortunately it's all in Japanese, as the game hasn't been confirmed for western localization yet, but it's still a treat for franchise fans.
While I won't claim to be an expert on all things Persona, there definitely seems to be a lot of fanservice-y imagery and references in the trailer. That includes the great Catherine nod featuring Vincent appearing to run around some sheep figurines in the trailer. We see a ton of shadowy clockwork and nightmare-esque twisted architecture. I'm sure fans are even more excited to see how combat plays out in Persona Q.
Finally, we can confirm that Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth will be released June 5 in 2014 -- in Japan, at least. Hopefully localization of the Nintendo 3DS title will only be as few months as possible after that.
Thanks to Persona know-it-all Rabla for the tip!
