I agree with this, Skyward Zelda was never one for battling, her attires all pointed to regalia and ceremonies not battling, she was stealth if anything.

That move with the Darknut really interests me. I want to know more immediately.

Its not a darknut,it is a phantom from spirit tracks/phantom hourglass.
In spirit tracks zeldas ghost is able to posess phantoms making her able to control one

And what is especially interesting is that it seems to be based on how zelda looks when she posesses a phantom

Because of that i think it is very likely that this phantom is actually part of zeldas special moves

Zelda you just made my day!

I was hoping she'd use this look, I'm glad to see a updated TP version of Zelda, can't wait to see Ganondorf.

This should totally be a color scheme, it should of been in Brawl if you ask me!

Oh btw check out this TP Zelda card I got in a booster pack I got for Christmas.

Zelda is one of my favorite characters in Super Smash Bros, Merry Christmas me!!

Thank you, Sakurai!

I like this new move, it's freaken Call Dullahan!

Is this her new down b?

Zelda was by far, my favorite character in Super Smash Bros Brawl, so I'm glad to see. Not really surprising that they went with the art style from TP.
I see Skyward Sword Zelda as a battler to be honest.

Notifying Dio because he gushes over anything Zelda related, especially TP.

The Phantom is probably an Assist.

Zelda appears to be making the same motion in the picture with Link and Peach, with no Phantom in sight.

No mention of Sheik is certainly interesting.

The resemblance is uncanny, it's simply bizarre, I'm almost tempted to call it an intentional reference.

well that could be possible indeed, but still the fact that it looks like zelda as a phantom makes it more look like it'll be a move.
Maybe that pose isn't related to the phantom, but that doesn't mean it isn't one of her moves,or she may not be able to summon the phantom whenever she wants and on the second picture it shows her trying to summon one, when she can't(like when you try to use warios fart but he has no gas)

No mention of Sheik is certainly interesting.

wouldn't jump to conclusions,I think they did the same with brawl, they revealed zelda first and revealed sheik later(but i may be misremembering things)

ImmoStride, you mean Jojo Levesque, right?

Now that you mention it, she does kind of look like her.

Btw I just got done playing Brawl and to celebrate the reveal of Zelda I was playing as Zelda and beating up on Pikachu.

Certainly didn't expect a new character announcement so soon though I have no problems with this!

Zelda is looking fantastic!

Glad to see Zelda again. I don't mind that she still has the Twilight Princess design. Oooh, new attack!
