I thought he was a GameStop exclusive? Anyway, I'm not sure whether I'm going to get him or not yet. He honestly creeps me out. That honey tongue... *shiver*

Actually I have him and he does look in game the way he does on the figure. Exactly the same. Pleas edit this article. I hate misinformation

I watched a YouTube video with him soon after reading this. Bluexy, he does appear like that in-game.

I think I remember a trick to tell if it shows up that way in-game. You know how Jolly Bumble Blast and Bumble Blast both have separate promotional images to represent them? The regular and the Jolly? Pumpkin Eye-Brawl never got a promotional image because he doesn't appear that way in-game. Same with golden figures, green figures, etc... just a trick I found. But apparently was blonde and forgot earlier today, fft.

I'm still not sure whether I'll be picking him up or not. I already have one version and it creeps me out enough as it is with that tongue, let's not forget how he enters the game... *Shiver* He slings his tongue around. I don't know what it is, his tongue just bothers me. xD

EDIT: I think the issue with Pumpkin Eye-Brawl was he was thought of after the game was released, so the visual coding didn't exist in the game. But the game could recognize special figures whether their coding was in the game or not (because they are basically the regular version just with special tag) so they can release figures that look different on the figure. Just a thought.

There's an even easier way to tell.

The back of the packaging has a picture showing what the character looks like in-game.

Jolly Bumble appears as his figure and art in-game with the picture.

Pumpkin Eye Brawl does not.

I have Pumpkin Eye-Brawl, I'm pretty sure I know he doesn't appear that way in-game. And I meant as in before the character is released. How are you supposed to look at the back of the packaging if you can't hold the character yet? Online, promotional images are usually some of the first things to surface.

Yes, online promotional images are usually accompanied by in-game pictures if the figure is a variant.

Pumpkin Eye Brawl was never confirmed to be a variant, it was confirmed to be a "Collector's edition Halloween Eye Brawl", and was never stated to have an in-game variant.

Jolly Bumble blast has been confirmed to have an in-game variant in screenshots, and the fact it was advertised as such.

Here's an even easier way to tell if a figure has an in-game variant. If the packaging has a prefix before the character's name, it has a variant in-game.

For example; Legendary Spyro, Dark Wash Buckler, Crimson Ninjini, Jade Flashwing, Molten Hotdog.

Pumpkin Eye brawl does NOT have a prefix. It just says "Eye Brawl" on the packaging, and "Special Halloween 2013 edition".

Okay, you can stop talking to me like I'm an idiot now. We get it, you're smarter than everyone else in existence.
