Looks brilliant, shame they're being greedy & charging people monthly for it. I'll get it if/when it goes F2P.

Munroe charging monthly for this type of game is perfectly justified though. Otherwise they would just release the game and in theory be done with it. That's not how MMORPGs work.

Really looking into the game. The money is killing me though, little over $200 the first year. I paid sixty for skyrim and haven't gotten bored of it after two years. I get that that's how MMOs make money but still. I'm a poor college student who can't afford that.

I don't mind the monthly charge. As long as the game puts out monthly content.

If the battles are that close together... I'm gonna be like "Oh, so sorry bro, I did NOT mean to kill you there.... I was in berzerker rage mode", unless there's no friendly fire... That kinda takes away the respect for good, and aware player team-mates, though - not having FF. Of course I've yet to play an MMO where there was constant Friendly Fire . There's always a first time for everything. I haven't been on top of the news with ESO lately.

I might get it depending on the price of a monthly pass. I don't know how much time I'll have to play it, so I don't want to spend like €30 only to get a little bit of time in.

Not really. Not when they're putting it on new, expensive consoles, both of which already require you to pay to play online. The game itself will probably be £55, then to actually be able to play it for more than a month you're gonna have to pay £15? It's a rip off. In a year when there's plenty of other great games coming out like Titanfall, Destiny, The Division, etc. it's a foolish thing for them to do. I'm sure it will be a success on PC, but for the console gamers they should've just gone F2P, or at least lowered the subscription fee.

Crap. I forgot about having to pay just to use the online services in the first place.

Munroe The price for online services on console is irrelevant. It's just not possible to run a quality MMORPG, of the scoope they're planning to make TES Online, without subscribtions. That Sony and Microsoft charges for thier services is not money into the game's creators' pockets. I don't see the argument (except from a consumer viewpoint). Trust me having TES Online running on Sony and Microsoft servers is probably not free. Which would mean not having subscribtions on the game would, well... Be like a stabwound bleeding money.
