Terraria is what some might consider a rather popular game, what with over three million players. Understatements aside, this sandbox indie game is now making its way to another platform: the PlayStation Vita.
Terraria Vita is currently expected to come out next week, on December 17, which isn't exactly far off. What's rather exciting is that the game will support Cross-Platform Play, meaning you'd be able to play with anyone who owns it on PS3. Additionally, PSN allows up to eight players in the multiplayer, allowing you to either partake in PVP or co-op.
Of course, the Vita version will have its own control system, including touch support and a more intuitive interface to better suit the handheld.
Expect a launch price of $14.99 when Terraria lands on PSN. The upcoming 1.2 update ensures the current community won't feel left out, either. Check out some of the new changes and content heading to Xbox 360 and PS3.
