Well this is a TellTale....
The "combat" is basically Quick time events.
Seriously cannot be worse than the last game's. Half the time it didn't even work. It was convoluted and clunky.

A Game of Thrones game that actually lets you make serious political decisions and forces you to deal with the consequences would be fantastic. Something linear with the illusion of choice would be horrible.

We'll see.

Hopefully they at least has a better combat system than the last one. That game was awful.

It'll probably be exactly like their previous games. Which isn't so bad, it'll basically be like a little interactive series of Game of Thrones which is pretty sweet.

Hope it wouldn't be a B-game

I'm really curious how this will pan out. A [decent] Game of Thrones game is a no brainer and Telltale are great developers, but you could imagine an RPG, RTS, action-adventure all working, and I'm unsure which would be most suitable. Because the deal's been done with HBO, you'd also figure the emphasis will be on making a game which supplements the series, using the same likenesses of all the main characters while they're still under contract, etc., rather than just letting Telltale get on with making the best game possible. Don't know whether to get my hopes up or not.
