He seems like a rather...dry character, with a rather interesting kit, if you know what I mean. Boring concept, interesting kit. I can see that anti-particle wall being a pain in the ass if nothing else.

You know, I don't think his kit or concept is too great but I'm just gonna wing it and buy him on release.

Tried him out on PBE. Honestly, he feels pretty clunky to use. His Q by itself is so thin and short you need to use his eq combo to reliably hit anything. His e is like sliding uphill because its REALLY slow.

As for his ultimate, I think the concept is just terrible. No other champion needs to heavily setup before they use their ultimate, you're only reliably running 3 skills most of the time unless your team has other knockups abilities. Having only one way to trigger your ulti by yourself so imo makes him predictable, repetitive and not fun to play.

And finally, his model currently looks terrible. Its not even close to the same level as the last few releases. No details at all, I hope they fix that.

I'm just going to leave this here.

Edit: Thinking about it I guess it would be difficult to time it perfectly but it is kind of cool to see everything it blocks.

Holy damn that shield eats almost anything, and it can be used to help allies as well

And not a single ranged champion was played the next day. That wall is freaking crazy. I can understand it's hard to time, but it's going to be the most infuriating thing to face imo. Yasuo/Kayle new meta.

They have to be up in the air.

I have not heard anything good about him yet. Haven't seen anybody find a spot for him as of yet that functions, or a build that really brings home the bacon. Kind of a...Fiora? Cool idea, can technically do well, but not going to be able to fight top lane right now at all, and wouldn't be a good option for your jungle either, though if you have to put him anywhere, right now it's jungle I guess.

I've seen him do very well as an aggressive laner top and a passive under-tower farmer mid.

He can't go aggressive against current top-top champs though, Riven/Shyvana would just kind of destroy him. Mid picks tend to be either assassins or high range poke champs. Not sure what he'd do against assassins, but with a 26-18s CD, his windwall is not going to save him from Nidalee or Ziggs.

Huge difference between player skill difference enabling a solid lane, or actual champ viability. People won lanes with Heimer pre-rework (&postnerf), doesn't mean he was actually decent.

What he doesn't dodge with his wall, he can dash out of the way of. Have you seen the cooldown on that dash D:?
