Always nice to see more of Techland's upcoming survival zombie adventure, Dying Light. The most recent video shows us a little more of the game's explorable areas, while showing off the fancy lighting tech in action.
Don't expect a lot of action here. Rather, it's more of a video for demo purposes:
... Techland harnessed the added power to develop a physically based lighting system using its in-house Chrome Engine 6. This allows them to not only create realistic lighting and shadows in the game world but more importantly make the game world more authentic and immersive.
Similar to Techland's hit zombie game Dead Island, Dying Light is a four-player co-op game centered around an open world, in the wake of a zombie outbreak. Based on what we've seen so far, Dying Light will be much more focused on the whole survival aspect, with factors like night and day coming into play.
