Today, BioWare has begun selling and shipping a new Mass Effect statue, this one being a replica of Sovereign, the Reaper that started it all. The replica measures in at 18.5" and is likely some kind of plastic. Heck, with ths $350 price tag, I'm hoping it's resin.
Yes, that's one expensive statue, but it also looks really nice. This coveniently-sized Sovereign is manufactured by Dark Horse Comics, and comes with a code that unlocks something on BioWare Social -- because of course it does. Seriously, if Mass Effect action figures come with codes, it's no wonder this monster does too. Anyway, here's the full description, found on the product page:
Sized at an astounding 18.5" tall, Sovereign is the flagship of the rogue Spectre Saren Arterius. An enormous, sentient dreadnought larger than any ship in any known fleet, Sovereign's original construction hints at a mysterious and alien origin.
Manufactured by Dark Horse Comics to include a sculpted base representing a devastated planetary surface, giving the replica a proportion that conveys its huge scale.
This replica will be a strictly limited production of 1,000 pieces. Each will be individually numbered and will include code to register the product on social.bioware.com.
Definitely one of the more expensive items on BioWare Store. Then again, the Paladin Pistol replica is a good $400.
