Oh dear, oh my, I have to rush to get this story up. See, PAX Australia 2014 tickets have just gone on sale and that means those who want to go better pick up their tickets fast. It's hard to say how long tickets will last. With Australia's convention being rather new, the tickets will likely last a fair while, but those might be famous last words. For all I know they could be gone in an hour.
Luckily, it sounds like PAX Australia will be expanding somewhat in order to better accommodate more people and floor-space:
"Building on the success of the 2013 event, the new venue will allow an increase in space across the entire show, with most feature areas increasing by at least 50%. To accommodate the demand for content, the theatre spaces will also be increased, with three times the amount of space at the 2014 show."
On top of standard 3-day badges, PAX will also be introducing 3-day international badges in order get more overseas travelers to the show. I'm sure the Aussies who don't end up getting tickets will love knowing tourists will be attending. At least it will increase local business, right everyone?
PAX Australia 2014 will be held October 31 to November 2 in 2014 at the Melbourne Convention Center. If anyone needs help with hotels, travel or the like head over to the PAX Australia website and give it a tour. There should be more than enough information for a geek to make due with. Oh, and buy your tickets already! They could be gone before you know it.
Oh, and one last note, the site could be going down from traffic so keep checking back. Maybe even follow the official PAX Twitter account to get updates on availability.
