If you can say one thing about Daedalic Entertainment, it's that they really pump out those adventure games. They must be over twenty titles in five years, not to mention the dozens they've published. What better way to encourage gamers to try some of their classic work than with a Humble Weekly Sale? Yes, Daedalic is putting up eight of their games in the sale, of which all can be acquired for a mere $6 -- less than a dollar a game!
Eight games, five for pay-what-you-want prices, three included with $6 donations, and each of them include their respective soundtracks. Here's what's up for sale:
Pay What You Want
- Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes
- A New Beginning - Final Cut
- The Whispered World
- The Chronicles of Shakespeare - Romeo & Juliet
- The Chronicles of Shakespeare - A Midsummer's Night Dream
Pay $6 or More
- Journey of a Roach
- The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav
Rather fitting for The Humble Sale vs. standard Humble Bundles, the Daedalic bundle is more of a marketing move than an all around solid bundle. Don't get me wrong, every game offered here is great, but for instance Deponia is the first game in a trilogy and neither of its sequels are included. To be fair, beyond the Deponia omissions, the rest of the bundle is most of Daedalic's most well known titles and award winners. Okay, fine! It's a great bundle all around! I just wanted those other Deponia games, dagnabbit.
Check out the Humble Weekly Sale page for more information or to purchase the bundle. Week after week the Humble Bundle folk deliver. I can't wait to see what they've got in store for the holidays.
