Well...

In Kojima we trust. But I would otherwise consider this confusing.

A bit weird considering I'm pretty sure Kojima has implied several times that TPP and GZ would be "a part of MGSV," which led me to believe that GZ would be like the Virtuous Mission in MGS3. I could swear he once even retweeted a Konami exec saying something like, "GZ + TPP = MGSV. They are both one game."

Still cool to hear some solid news. It's an interesting idea too. "Day Negative" DLC. An appetizer instead of a desert so to speak.

I just want to play it, but please, KojiPro, don't be afraid of a delay. I just want the best experience possible and I don't really mind waiting for something like this.

This feels a little bit like what Capcom did with Dead Rising 2 with how they released Case Zero to introduce key gameplay and story elements while being separate from the main game.

Really looking forward to getting this, but I fear that it will make the wait for The Phantom Pain unbearable

Two episodes? One big game, looks a bit weird? But both of the game emphasized on 1) Morality and 2) Humanity, That's what I want!!!

In some ways though I feel like it's a bad deal because we're getting only a fraction of a game yet still pay a considerable fee. For Australia too, there's a always the price point. Despite $19.99 and $29.99 price tags, those figures never convert well over here. I remember when GTA LCS was released on PS2 for $30 or something in the US, but it was well over $50 in Australia. I can see the same happening for this game. And considering that new release can cost up to $110AUD, but average in the $80-$90 range, I just can't see why I'd so much for so little.

Course, I have no idea on average prices in the US, and I have absolutely no idea the size and scale of GZ. I'm just apprehensive here.

I like the idea of a prologue that you can buy separately. Gives us the content earlier for one! It's unlike what most devs would give us. As Drogo Baggins says, it's like the Virtuous Mission from MGS3, only we get to pay to get it early. I'm presuming that an 'MGSV' disc will be released when Phantom Pain comes out, that includes Ground Zeroes.

He works in mysterious ways.

His meaning isn't always clear, but he won't lead us astray.

I feel so conflicted because I agree with both of you >.<

Kojima has always made my head hurt trying to understand his choices on more then one occasion (or just how he goes about making them) but atleast he brings a bit of diversity to the gaming scene.

rpg yeah Kojima a certainly is an odd one. But Drogo has a point, he hasn't lead us too far astray... so far. Though I am disappointed he stopped production of Zone of the Enders 3...

Does anyone know how much space this will be as far as digital download is concerned? I have an old 60 GB PS3 and want to make sure I clear it up enough for this game.

I knew someone asked this question somewhere, but I couldn't find the answer at the time it was asked.

Anyway, some guy has already gotten his hands on it and posted a screen of the file size (for PS4). Apparently it's about 4 GB.

EDIT:

Storm

The digital version is actually up for pre-order now, and the PS3 version is only 1.4 GB according to the store.
