In the crush of late October and early November releases, many small titles slip through the cracks. Not Final Exam, however, which will be coming to PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 5. When first we were introduced to this 2D side-scrolling multiplayer brawler Final Exam was known as Obscure. Not much seems to have changes beyond the title since -- a good thing, too!
The latest details for Final Exam confirm four different characters, themed after post-high school graduate cliches: the football quarter back, the street dancer (she used to be a cheerleader), the geek, and the bad boy. Traveling back to school for a reunion, the quartet instead find themselves in the midst of a zombie apocalypse. Luckily there's tons of firepower around this school for whatever reason!
A few new details were put out today, along with an older trailer that we'd yet to link here. For instance, Final Exam will feature 8 levels that are each 30-45 minutes long, but with all sorts of replayability. Each mission can be played solo or up to four-player online co-op (maximum two players local).
Pick up Final Exam, Mighty Rocket Studio's first game, on PlayStation 3 starting November 5 for sure, and likely on Xbox 360 and PC sometime around then, too. It cost just $9.99, so if you need some value multiplayer action this holiday season then Final Exam may be just what you need.
