Today marks the beginning of Halloween in Guild Wars 2, as Lion's Arch is flooded with angry-looking pumpkins and the Trading Post with high-priced weapon skins. A major patch came out today for ArenaNet's MMO, and with it comes the Mad King's Labyrinthe, special holiday minis, holiday skins, and more. No costumes this time (Yet?), unfortunately, but there's still plenty to do.
Quite a few living story achievements are repeats from last year, such as opening Trick-or-Treat bags. If you missed out on the pumpkin carving achievement before, the pumpkins are back now, too. Of course, the Mad King will be returning to play more Mad King Says in Lion's Arch, and a new holiday storyline gives lore-lovers more quests to chase after.
Here's the new trailer celebrating the 2013 beginning of Halloween in Tyria. Are your bodies ready for all that candy?
