The Long Dark, one of the more recent gems found on Kickstarter, is now well on its way to being funded. With eight days left, the post-apocalyptic survival sim now sits at just over 60% of its $200,000 CAD goal.
The game, developed by Hinterland and lead by Far Cry 3's narrative director Raphael van Lierop, has raised a current total of $124,209 CAD. Today, the devs also released the first gameplay footage for The Long Dark, in which we finally see the unique art style translated into dynamic gameplay. We're also treated to a look at the beautiful northern wilderness brought to life.
van Lierop narrates the video for us, and it's important to note that this is still "prototype footage." If you like what you see, The Long Dark Kickstarter is still going. Help Hinterland reach their goal!
