Well, if you haven't decided where to get Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Amazon is hoping you'll order your copy from them. Today, Ubisoft announced a special (that's "exclusive") Lethal Pirate Edition just for the online retailer, and it costs $10 more than the base game. What do you get for that additional $10? A figurine and some digital goodies, including exclusive in-game content, of course.
To be more exact, the Lethal Pirate Edition includes the following Amazon-exclusive loot:
- Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag video game, including the free pre-order bonus DLC: Hidden Mystery Pack
- A custom-designed Black Bart figurine and digital wallpaper, created by comic artist Todd McFarlane
- Exclusive in-game content: Black Bart’s legendary black sails to customize your pirate ship and terrorize your enemies on the high seas
Ubi hasn't mentioned any platform restrictions, so it stands to reason that if you snag Black Flag off Amazon.com for PC or current-gen consoles, you can get the slightly pricier upgrade. Bear in mind that most of these special editions for upcoming cross-gen games don't apply to Xbox One or PS4 releases.
And don't forget the other exclusive editions announced so far. Yep, everyone can feel special.
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag will be out on October 29 for Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and Wii U. Wait a while longer, and you can get the game on PS4 and Xbox One as launch games.
