We're nearing the end of September, meaning MMO players might see more Halloween goodies pop up in their respective online games. In Guild Wars 2, the Mad King has yet to make a reappearance, but ArenaNet has updated the in-game Gem Store with some holiday-specific goodies like dye and another $10 infinite mining item.
Got money or gold to burn? Right now, you can drop 800 Gems (or $10) on a new Bone Pick, which essentially acts as an infinite, all-level mining item for metals. So if you missed out on that Molten Pick (or whichever it was) but still want a special-looking infinite mining tool, now's your chance to get one.
On top of that, a new exclusive dye pack is now in the Gem Store, called the "Deathly Dye Pack." As far as I can tell, the six new colors are mostly shades of green. Here is the list of new dyes, along with preview codes:
- Swampblack Dye [&AgEduwAA]
- Caustic Dye [&AgEeuwAA]
- Toxin Dye [&AgEfuwAA]
- Algae Dye [&AgEguwAA]
- Acid Dye [&AgEhuwAA]
- Acrid Dye [&AgEiuwAA]
Additionally, all that Super Adventure stuff is on its way out, so get your fill now while you still can. Oh, and we've still got that Twilight Assault business on the way, so stay tuned.
