Frogadier is supposedly a brigadier, which is like a military general. Which makes me think it will be fighting art. Braixen is definitely going to be psychic, Quilladin, I'm not so sure about. It's based off of a knight, so I could see grass/dark grass/steel grass/rock grass/ground. What do you guys think?
Quilladin is Quill + Paladin, so I would guess like Steel, but the pokembeach leak says Dark, so we'll just have to wait and see

Every evolution is basically based on Medieval things
Quilladin- Knight (Name is Quill and Paladin, warriors in Charlemagne's court, and it is the "spiny armor Pokemon")
Braixen- Witch ( Name is Braise, French for live coals, Vixen, female fox, most stereotypical witches are female, it's stick/tail looks like a broom, it uses the stick like a wand, it's fur is dresslike, and it's evolution is rumored to be Fire/Psychic hint witch hint)
Frogadier- Ancient Military troop (Name is Frog and Brigadier and it is a water type)
I hated Braixen, but then I realized after a while, I love it.

Also Megachomp sounda OP as all hell, with increased offensive stats and Sand Force, XY's chompy is sure to be banned to Ubers.
If I remember right, its speed stat is supposed to decrease in Mega. Dont quite remember where I heard that from, might have been serebii...

Edit: Yep!

This Pokémon was revealed within the October issue of CoroCoro in September 2013. It has decreased Speed but increased Attack and Special Attack

Firstly Garchomp isn't a crocogator it is a land shark dragon.

Secondly the final typings on the starters final evolutions are as followed
Chespin: Gains Ground Typing
Fennekin: Gains Psychic Typing
Froakie: Gains flying typing

That much is confirmed and known
Okay this is bothering me. I don't understand how anyone in their RIGHT mind would think Froakie gains a Flying type. Froakie is based on a NINJA/ROGUE. Ninjas JUMP/LEAP. They're supposed to be agile. Also, Froakie is a frog. FROG JUMP/LEAP. Ponyta could also learn bounce, was she part Flying type too? Also, 4X WEAKNESS TO THUNDER. They didn't do a starter evo with a 4X weakness since Gen 1 with Charizard. If they don't utilize the reverse Dark > Psychic > Fighting secondary typing then I'm going to scream.

I second this. I'd feel like champion would make more sense, but you apparently fight her a few times throughout your journey, so I guess she's evil. :V

Oops I forgot about Swampert.

But regardless, I DO NOT WANT FROAKIE TO BE PART FLYING TYPE. That would ruin the concept of it being a brigadier. Plus water/flying types never get used.

That makes absolutely no sense. If it's a brigadier general, how the hell does a flying ruin that? Y'know, Brigadiers can be Pilots as well, and if you notice, Frogadier looks quite a bit like an old style pilot. Makes more sense than a ninja at this point. However, it could still result in several different types.
Also, Water/Flying types don't get used because the only two that exist (Pelliper line and Mantine line) have terrible stats. Don't even get me started on their looks either.

That's nice, except for the fact that a water/fighting would be much more preferable to something with 4X weakness. Regardless of its concept, I'd rather have fighting over flying as it's secondary type. It can also know a fighting type move. Honestly I'd rather not have people stretch the concept to a brigadier pilot if it's going to screw over it's type-weakness balance. The concept should just stick to a non-pilot brigadier.

umm your missing one. gyrados lol. he is water/flying. anyway in my opinion I think their final evos will be:

chespin:grass/steel or grass/ground
fennekin:fire/psychic or fire/dark or fire/ghost or fire/fairy
froakie: water/dark or water/fight
