Apparently the iPhone 5S will be doubling the previous phone's processing power and graphics capabilities, so it makes sense to have a game ready to demo such capabilities. Who better than the Epic Games studio who are known for the best looking games on the platform? Chair Entertainment has just announced Infinity Blade III to launch alongside the iPhone 5S for iOS 7 devices.
Infinity Blade III will conclude the trilogy of confusing, time-bending action games. There's only so many ways to keep a touch-screen poke and slash experience exciting beyond improved graphics. Expect Infinity Blade III to pull out all stops though, featuring eight areas to explore, each the size of the original Infinity Blade. Also, dragons. Yes, a big scary dragon that will likely make multiple appearances throughout the game. Oh, and there are also two protagonists now, a sword wielding dude and an acrobatic lady.
Infinity Blade III launches September 18, which is the same day that the iPhone 5S will be made available. While the game certainly optimized to look best on the brand new phone, with its much improved A7 chip and OpenGL tech, it'll likely scale just fine to lesser devices. Just as long as they've been upgraded to iOS 7. Check out the trailer below for our first look at the game.
