Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- was originally announced without any platforms associated with it. That changes today, as during the Sony Japan's PlayStation Press Conference it was revealed that Guilty Gear Xrd will be coming to PlayStation 4 and PS3 in addition to arcades -- at least in Japan.
Nine characters have now been revealed as part of the game's roster, most of which can be seen in the announcement trailer that debuted today. Those nine include primary characters Sol Badguy and Ky Kiske, along with Lillia Rage, May, Chipp Zanuff, Potemkin, Venom, Axl Low and I-No. You have to admit that that game's new cell-shaded graphics certainly give each of the characters a lot more detail and movement.
Unfortunately, Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- has yet to recieve a release date, though we do know it won't be 2013. Hopefully as we approach the PlayStation 4's release in Japan, which is in February of 2014, we'll hear more about Guilty Gear Xrd's release in addition to its localization for western countries.
