I can see why they have a subscription fee I guess, though I still find it disappointing that that's the case. I may consider downloading it if it isn't too expensive, seeing as I'd most likely really like to transfer some Pokémon over from my previous games. Otherwise, I quite like the sounds of it.

I don't really care about the subscription fee at all, doesn't phase me.

Really fond of this idea as a whole, it'll be great for event collectors imo.

It's an interesting idea and I could see why people would want it, but I'm not too big on the monthly subscription. I think I'll get it just so I can transfer my Pokemon from Black/Black2 and then cancel my subscription at the end of the month.

According to Serebii, it will be ¥500 a year for Japan. Doesn't seem like it'll be a steep cost.
There is also a trial until January 31st there before players have to pay. Seems like they want to allow people to transfer their mons and then pay for long-term storage.

Hopefully we get a similar setup here in the states.

^ This. It's perfectly understandable as to why they need people to purchase this separately and I really don't mind at all.

BAGAHAHAHA at the fee, they can screw themselves with that. Their excuse is also hilarious, pretty sad that not only will this actually work but people will find reasons to justify the cost. Giving us the ability to save on our SD cards would not be profitable apparently.

I'll use the trial to transfer my Pokemon over but I was looking forward to using this more. Oh well.

Pokemon Bank is going to try to filter out hacks from past gens.
I hope they don't badegg me when I try to transfer public events and clones.

Aside from that $5 a year doesn't sound bad at all, and with this I might get the digital versions.

At first this kinda confused me but now I get it...This is basically Nintendo putting in place a system so that they'll never have to put in a new "transfer Pokemon from previous Generations" method from next Gen onwards. You'll be able to deposit and withdraw your Pokemon at will between multiple games. I hope that means the account is linked to the console - that'll make the process of doing trades between different cartridges you own a lot quicker and simpler!

Although, I don't have any initial intentions of moving my 'mons off Black/Black2 so I imagine I'll only use this service when the third game / Gen7 is out. Neat idea though.

$5 a year is cheaper then buying a 2ds so i can trade between my X & Y i'll gladly pay this price specially when i've been worrying about how they'd be allowing me 2 x-fer my 649 from black 2.

At roughly £3 a year, no one can really justify complaining.

I wonder how long it'll take before there are systems such as the 'fake dreamworld' programs out there that the DS can connect to if you host it on your own wifi. But it's a good idea, if it's cheap then I think they can justify having to run the servers to actually store the pokémon. 5 a year is almost nothing, free is ofc always preferred but meh.

The fact that Transporter/Bank doesn't work with hacked Pokemon is quite amusing x] That's gonna annoy a lot of people I think.

Wait wait wait, has Bank eliminated the need to need another console to trade with yourself?

That's fantastic. And it's almost insultingly cheap, I back the *bleep* out of this.

Hell, if you can send up to Bank then retrieve after you restart your game, that'd be ballin'.

I'm liking this and kind of not liking this. I don't like a paid service I probably do not need for anything other then showing off. But storing 3000 pokemon is coolios though
