Rockstar, as promised, has put out the latest official trailer for Grand Theft Auto V. Wow, is it really less than three weeks away from launch? Less than three weeks until we get to see our three anti-hero protagonists do, well, whatever they do. Seriously, it's hard to tell whether GTAV is a story of three men finding themselves or spiraling towards their doom. Or maybe it's both?
Anyway, Franklin, Michael and Trevor star in this trailer, which is rather out of sorts considering everything we've been shown of the game so far. It focuses on some of the dramatic conflict going on behind the characters, primarily Michael, as they put the "gang" back together. It's almost like they're reforming a band and going on tour. Oddly Franklin gets practically no screen time through the whole thing.
Oh! Also, this trailer will be showing up during next Sunday's Breaking Bad episode. As such, it makes sense that the tone and message of the trailer is designed specifically for the audience of Breaking Bad. I suppose it's middle-aged white male demographic?
Grand Theft Auto V will be launch on September 17. Wow, that's less than three weeks away? It feels like it was just five minutes ago I was thinking about how excited I am for the game to finally be released.
