Well, it's going to have to be about the games at the end of the day!
This is why I'm buying my Xbox One, for the games! Interesting article, I'm hoping this developer is actually correct, he seems to know what he is talking about. If they are really on the same level performance wise, then I'll be even happier.

How can you say he knows what he is taking about when the Dev had never heard of huma and had to look it up. Like I will believe his take on that. Plus if you read huma there is already discrepancies in what he said to be true huma. That is why people are calling it huma lite.

The games is one of the many reasons for me to not buy the Xbox One. The exclusives just aren't nearly as impressive as the ones for the PS4. And since I won't be buying a console at launch, I'm not overly concerned with the release dates. But when it comes to games, inFamous: Second Son is enough reason in and of itself to buy a PS4. Plus, Naughty Dog caters exclusively to Sony, and I'm pretty excited to see what is in their future. In the meantime, I can enjoy Knack, Killzone: Shadow Fall, Driveclub, The Witness, Deep Down, Hotline Miami 2, inFamous, and many more. And I'm glad to know of a surety that the PS4 has very impressive architecture.

Naughty Dog is owned by Sony, so of course they're exclusive.

Same with Sucker Punch (Sly Cooper, Infamous), Media Molecule (LittleBigPlanet), Geurilla Games (Killzone), etc. They are all owned by Sony.

Who does Microsoft have that's comparable? Rare? All the big talent left years ago. Lionhead? They haven't made anything interesting since Fable. Turn 10? They just make racing games, hardly innovative. So who's left?

chip A, core B... it all sounds very fancy but problem is that's all nerd stuff i don't understand any of it nor do i want to.
what happened to love A and dedication B? best keep in mind that some things can't be made by machines. those are the games we remind regardless of age.

hm... with this logic in mind i might as well just skip release day and keep up with the tons of games i have now for a year or so. next gen or not it's still a newb and it has to prove itself and it's upcoming games.

We KNOW that Xbox one won't be the same performance wise since Microsoft themselves said they didn't target a high powered console.

What we'll likely see a few years down is more stable or in some cases even higher framerate and more particle effects on the ps4 but outside that it'll be like this Gen where 360 multiplatform titles where superior but not by much. The difference between consoles will be told by exclusives.

The thing is, even if the Xbox dev is correct, the One will be at a huge disadvantage due to its DDR3 RAM. The one has 32MB of ESRAM to try and compensate for the DDR3 in normal operation, but it'll be completely useless with hUMA.
