I love seeing how stuff like this is made, it's just amazing to see how much time and effort went into making a set of armour that was used in a minute or so long trailer

amazing job, nice to see there are still people capable of creating ancient items like these. I'm wondering though, what do they usually sell for a living?, I'm pretty sure they don't get to sell a lot of armor/medieval weapons in order to make a decent living.

Anyway, possessing a real armor and swinging a real longsword, are part of my life's checklist

Generally speaking most samurai armor is made of leather or cloth with a few hard points of steel.

Segmented Scale Armor is pretty interesting.

Making Katana is actually surprisingly similar as well. The real fascinating part is folding the iron. Then there is the fact that some of the best swords are made from iron sand and dust than mined ore. Or used to anyway...
