i see a few familiar weapons, clank plays helicopter backpack again (good sign) and they also got common enemies that look and dress a lot like the thug 4 less henchmen from R&C2. given the history with these enemies perhaps we can expect to see something from angela cross again? best keep an eye open, the crack in time's ingame radio news said she disappeared mysteriously after all.

the way i see it this looks like an R&C the way it's meant to be. anything's better than the spin offs. only full frontal assault was fun (especially online) but it lacked story and the once glorious wrench was reduced to a glorified box opener.

i wonder what the morph will be capable of in this game. at max lvl that weapon is so OP in many games

edit:
snowman misses dan's face ._.

Wow, looks sexy. Is it a PS3 (PS4 actually, now that I think about it) exclusive?

I believe it is only for PS3, which is slightly disappointing since PS4 is to be released in the same timeframe, and it is exclusive to Sony's PS3 right now, which is consistent with their other R&C titles.

Wow, gaу.

Now if you want to play this game (If you buy the PS4, and don't have a PS3 anymore), you have to "Stream" the game, or something. 1, that's retarded, 2, you don't really own the games, 3, you need internet to play.

Who's going to buy a console Day 1, which is going to have at most 2 games that you're going to want/afford, and get rid of the previous console if there's not going to be backwards compatibility.
And to combat your points.
1) No it's not. 2) You get to play the game whenever you please. Who cares. 3) Once it's downloaded and installed you can play it whenever you please.
You're confusing the PS4 with the former XboxOne.

You can't play PS3 games on a PS4, so you have to use a service to stream them over the internet. So, you saying "You get to play the game whenever you please" is bullshit, it's just like the XBone's cut "always online" feature all over again. So if you can't play PS3 games on a PS4, why are you mentioning "installing"?

If you're like me, who doesn't make enough money to buy fancy new hardware, it's a nice thing to be able to turn in my old console for a discount on the newer one. I wouldn't do this with the PS4 until like a year after launch though, for reasons you've mentioned.

Think about people who are migrating from XBox to PS4, brand new console to them. When they see that new Ratchet game, maybe they go "damn I want that game". TOO BAD! It's a PS3 exclusive, ya know, outdated hardware! Want to play it? Stream it over the cloud, because the cloud is the future (of DRM)!!!! No internet connection? *bleep* you!

You don't own the game, even though you're paying retail price. You're just renting it until the PS4's online service dies.

So yeah, it's pretty retarded.

Also, plenty of people buy on day one. Plenty of people who never owned a PS3.

Let's see... make game for console that everyone already has or new console that not everyone's going to have right away, thus limiting the market for the new game.
Staying on the PS3 is the smart decision. If someone trades away their PS3 or jumps right into the PS4, f**k them. They made their decision, they can live with it.

I'm not even going to bother arguing about DRM and whatnot, not worth the time/brainpower and it'd be basically just arguing with a wall that happens to be capable of yelling.

It's a smart idea at launch, but not for the long run. And I'm talking about people who had XBox 360's and are switching to PS4 (which is quite a lot after what MS pulled). It's just a shame they aren't offering it on both the 3 and 4, it may take more time to port the game, but with how big the company is behind the development it shouldn't take too long. And why F the people who made an OK decision, going into the next generation early. They may have less games, but they've got a much more powerful system that will have some really nice games in the future.

DRM is a wall, sadly.
