Ah, here's one of the main games I've been waiting to show their face during gamescom. It's Bungie's Destiny with a new ViDoc trailer showcases several developers chatting over a vignette of gameplay. Most of the content continues to focus on the Old Russia demo that was shown during E3 (and everywhere since), but there are a number of sequences featuring new content. Oh! And a good number of screenshots too!
I'm actually rather surprised that Destiny didn't show off another area, or another facet of gameplay during gamescom. These types of huge games only come around so often and Destiny has an early 2014 release, after all. Still, they seem to have a very specific idea of how they want to present their game and damn anyone who says otherwise. Old Russia is what we're going to get, whether we want it or not!
Destiny, Bungie's FPS online MMO, will be launching in 2014 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. No word on a PC version of the game just yet, but considering the type of game Destiny is I think console-exclusiveness is just fine.
