If there's one place that's been woefully missing from the Batman Arkham franchise, it's the Batcave. To be fair, when creating an open world space it's a bit difficult to create an area like the Batcave which would logically be nowhere near a proper open world setting. Yet it looks like Warner Bros. Montreal has solved the issue, as the latest bunch of Batman Arkham Origins screenshots have confirmed Batcave action.
To be fair, the screenshots look to be taken from an in-game cutscene of some sorts, so it's more likely than not that we'll only get a brief look at the Batcave before being relocated to the setting of the actual game. Sigh, a fan can dream, can't they? That would also mean that Alfred is yet again just a face, a voice in the background and not actually an NPC we can interact with.
Whatever the case may be, a cinematic look at the Batcave is still better than no Batcave at all. Unless this is one of those Batcave-in-the-Fridge tropes and they're just getting me excited for it so they can blow it up. I don't think I can live with this sort of anxiety! Thank goodness Batman Arkham Origins is only two months away from release, launching October 25 on PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and Wii U.
