Sometimes, we forget that certain games have Wii U versions. Most Wii U titles these days seem to be an afterthought, a port of something made for PC and other consoles. Well, Ubisoft definitely doesn't want people thinking that about Splinter Cell: Blacklist. In fact, today's trailer is all about the benefits of playing the game with a GamePad.
The GamePad features are much like you would expect. Similar to what they did with Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell lets players mess around in their loudout on the smaller secondary screen, basically allocating game menus so that they don't take up your TV space.
In one gameplay sequence, we see the GamePad being used to display head signatures in the area. If you don't want to see that on your TV then... I guess that's a pretty neat thing. Anyway, the nearly 8-minute shows us the game on Wii U, with the GamePad in use.
