I honestly can't wait. It looks good, and it's NOT made by Treyarch.

Sold.

Serene Guardian While I do like Zombies, I'm pretty damn excited to see IW back in the game, as it were.

Also, FINALLY women soldiers. :3

BF 3?? CoD needs some emotional content in it. it doesn't look like Battlefield 4 without Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse.

I said I wasn't buying another CoD game on release after how little I played Black Ops II, but I lied, I lied so hard. Can't wait to play as the female soldiers, make the bros online twice as mad.

I don't understand the positivity around the trailer. It's basically the same every year; contemporary music, explosions, snippets of reskinned gameplay.

Except that's what makes up the Call of Duty games. It's dramatic appearance. Everything you just listed is what draws people in with a trailer.

Movie's do it quite often. As for reskinned gameplay, that's up to you. It'd be a lie to say that this game will have exactly the same gameplay as the first Modern Warfare. The weapons, equipment, killstreaks, game modes all deter from the basic formula and separates the CoD's.

If you ask anyone who plays the game a lot, there's a major difference in games Infinity Ward makes and games Treyarch makes. IW games have a tendency to be more fun and overbearing while Treyarch games have a tendency to be taken more seriously by the developers and focuses on appeasing the community.

But that's exactly why it's bad. The game can never progress and evolve if it requires every other iteration to appease its community. I've played each CoD up to and including MW3 and for me it's precisely the new equipment and killstreaks that make the most recent games worse; by adding evermore killstreaks and gimmicks, the balance of the game is ruined and as a result you end up with people using pretty much the same equipment after the first couple of weeks.

This article from Eurogamer is interesting too. If you don't fancy reading it, it basically asks how dynamic the new maps are: they aren't.

This is honestly what I didn't expect, and this makes me more than exciting, and female characters? Another nice thing that would make the female players exciting =D
And man, the features are too cool, and the map types... Hope they make the release date closer, haha. xD

Call of Duty follows the "if it isn't broken, don't fix it". CoD itself is by no means bad. Objectively, it's an average shooter. A bad game would have terrible controls, no content, and be riddled with glitches and problems and having absolutely nothing in return.

Trying to appease a community isn't always the best idea. It's precisely why I despise Treyarch, because they think they listen, yet time and time again they've proved themselves with a slow, clunky shooter.

CoD3? Garbage. Worst one.
BO1? Slowest feeling CoD to date.
BO2? Riddled with the same "problems" that other acclaim IW games to have.

The community is also made up of a bunch of screaming 15 year olds, so I personally wouldn't want to appease them because they're always going to complain about something.
