The Witcher games play pretty heavily on morality and that pesky gray area between good and evil. Geralt is hardly a hero, but his heart's in the right place. The newest trailer shows us just that in full CG glory. It's not exactly pretty, but you'll love Geralt all the more after seeing it.
Appropriately named "Killing Monsters," the cinematic first debuted at E3 in June, but this is the first time CD Projekt is showing it to the public. The developer even put up a countdown for it on the official Witcher site a couple days ago.
When Geralt comes to collect payment for hunting down and killing a monster, he stumbles upon a woman being brutally beaten for her alleged crimes -- cannibalism and looting being some of them. We never actually know for certain if she's guilty, but Geralt doesn't really care. He sees something he doesn't like, he's going to do something about it. He does, after all, hunt monsters for a living.
