Activision and Treyarch announced yesterday the last map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, the Apocalypse DLC. At the time, we only had a promotional image showing each map name, but today, they've released an actual preview video for the upcoming DLC. Follow along with Treyarch developers as that talk about the four new maps and Zombies campaign.
The four maps, as announced, are "Pod," "Frost," "Takeoff," and "Dig," all taking place across different regions of the world. The latter two maps are actually adapted from previous Treyarch games Black Ops and World at War, which long-time Call of Duty fans may appreciate.
"Origins," the new Zombies map, is described as being very vertical, and adds new hazards for players to overcome. Bigger than ever, basically, with an interesting aesthetic the devs are calling "dieselpunk". Think "steampunk" but with World War I influences. And for those who missed yesterday's memo, the original cast of Zombies will be returning to give players a helping hand.
Anyway, check out the dev preview. Might answer some questions, might not.
