I have my early access code, but the timing is terrible.
I'm about to start my first semester of school.

Why SE, WHY AUGUST?!
Oh well, I think I'll manage to squeeze time in, I like working at my own pace with these games. Because I know once I fall behind, I wont have all of the high tier weapons and armor when my friends get them, like in the other MMOs I've played.

Does anyone know how and when the ps3 open beta download hits? I participated in phase 3 and the game will not even load to the menu any more. I thought the beta would be played through the same download but possibly not....? Just want to make sure I'm good to go for open beta. Can't wait!!!. Thought we would all be playing this weekend but I guess not. also where do you input early access code for ps3? Thanks:).

Are the characters in the open beta going to be deleted for the rerelease on the 24th?

Kind of ambiguous, there will be no character wipe, unless there needs to be a character wipe. Depends on any major game-changing bugs, but it is very unlikely based on the smoothness of beta phases so far.

Does this beta stage still reset or is the level you get to in game the level you will start when its released?

Human_Tank10 Any progress you make beginning in open beta should be permanent and carry over to release. Though as the article mentions, the level cap is 20 during the three open beta days.

I played the first release beta and the game for a while, but work got in the way. I want to get back into it and plan to join the beta. I can't seem to find anything anywhere about what my situation means for the early release period (starting the 24th). How do I get an early access code if I already own the game?

Found a fancy site that has countdowns for open beta, early access, and then server statuses for all regions! Hmm, blar! Wish I could embed some of them.

From what the official tester forum states, players who were part of phase 3 actually can log into phase 4's beta on the 16th (Friday). Then again, the server times themselves are running in Japan time (teh futurez), so access on the 16th i'll probably be pretty damned late in the day for everybody not in that time zone.

If you owned the previous game there's some hoops you have to go to. Check the main site to figure out how that works. It made my brain bleed when I attempted, so I stopped reading. Brain bleed not good, can't am thunk right some times. ~_~
