Nintendo is keeping their legal reps busy, as the company targets website HackYourConsole.com in their latest lawsuit. Why? Well, the name practically gives that away. Seems Nintendo isn't particularly keen on letting people sell "unauthorized Nintendo games" and help "circumvent" security on DS and Wii.
According to Nintendo, the individual behind HackYourConsole.com built a "global business" by selling pirated copies of Nintendo games, game-copying devices (like the R4), and other items/services that allow users to bypass security on Nintendo platforms.
Apparently, the HackYourConsole site has claimed to be an authorized distributor of the 3DS Gateway cards, which are supposedly similar to the R4 copiers. You can imagine Nintendo's displeasure over this.
Nintendo of America has since filed a lawsuit in the Southern District of Florica against HackYourConsole's owner.
