Splinter Cell's next chapter, Splinter Cell Blacklist, comes out August 20, and the we're seeing no shortage in trailers. The newest is titled "Threat" and drives home the idea that Sam Fisher is working against the clock. All the numbers kind of give that impression.
So Fisher is running around, kicking ass like he always does, and then he finds himself getting captured. Knocked by with gas, incidentally, in what might have been a trap. He's about to disable what appears to be a bomb, but the "bomb" unleashes some kind of knock-out gas. Cue our hero waking up tied to a chair in the company of bad guys -- likely "The Engineers" terrorist group.
The one thing that really stuck out to me in this trailer isn't what happens to Sam, but how much the guy looks like Commander Shepard. Seriously, watch the video and tell me you don't see it too.
