A well-loved multiplayer map from Company of Heroes is making a return for the sequel, with some changes to make it more fitting for the Eastern Front. The Langres map was a creation for the Relic map design competition in CoH, and over the years has clocked 3.2 million matches and 1.2 million hours of playtime. It's the very definition of popular, and now it's getting transformed into Langreskaya for Company of Heroes 2.
Langreskaya has been changed around to feature a summer and winter variation, since CoH 2 has a vastly improved weather system. It should still be that same unassuming rural location in the summer, but the winter weather could open up entirely new avenues of attack. As for the other changes, well, you'll just have to play it for yourself to find out. There won't be a wait either, as Relic stated Langreskaya is getting patched into Company of Heroes 2 later today for free.
