soccer football fans, you've got another big game coming out this fall: Pro Evolution Soccer 14. Joining EA's FIFA 14, PES 14 will be released to South, Central, and North America on September 24. Yes, the two games are sharing a release date.
As before, however, PES 14 will be hitting significantly less platforms than its western counterpart; only Xbox 360 and PS3, in fact. The Wii U and 3DS are being skipped, as well as next-gen consoles consoles Xbox One and PS4.
Konami insists the game will still look awesome though, thanks to Kojima Production's FOX Engine. When asked back in June why Konami would give EA and FIFA a head start on the new generation, PES European community manager Adam Bhatti said simply, "Not in the business for highres nextgen ports. We can't and shouldn't do that. Bad habit etc."
