There's also an Assassin's Creed sale going on where some bonehead made the expansions 536 msp. Really? And it's not even half-off.

How is this news while Steam is doing its summer sale? Or rather: why doesn't this article mention the Steam summer sale at all, even though the comparison would be interesting and informative?

because they arent doing the massive sale on the Steam versions of Capcom's games.

They are only not doing so right now. It's still good to know where you get the best bargains.

Also, since the Xbox One isn't going to be backwards compatible, is it even worthwhile to make this investment right now?

yes and right now, the best bargains for Capcom games at least is on Xbox. maybe they will have these good deals on Steam too in a while, but then again there isnt near as much Capcom stuff on Steam as there is on Xbox\PS3.

sure its worthwhile, for those of us who dont plan on getting an Xbone any time in the near future. i will be keeping my 360 long after One comes out and i bet so will a lot of Xbox fans.

EDIT: i feel really stupid. was just poking around my HDD save data and remembered that i already had the RE5 Gold Edition installed from when i bought it a while back, installed it and sold it on eBay. so i just bought the extra DLC for no reason.

Capcom games tend to be a little cheesy and Japanese for my taste. But I downloaded Dark Void because I thought the premise seemed interesting.
After some terrible dialogue and wonky animation, I finally hit a game-breaking glitch and gave up. I want my $5 back.

have you googled the glitch to see if anyone has found a fix?
